Finally, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has announced its landmarked judgment, and that the decision of Justice Faiz Essa has no effects on the Bench. the Constitutional verdict passed by the 03 member bench of the Supreme court and directed the Government to hold Election on 14 May 2022.  

SC also directed the Federal Government to arrange for the funds and also directed all the Agencies to assist the Election Commission in the upcoming Elections to be held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Punjab. The lawyers and PTI endorsed the verdict and declared it a landmark verdict and supremacy of the Constitution.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi while addressing the press appraise the judgment and advised the Chief Election Commissioner to hold the election and that the SC overthrown the pressure lies on the shoulder of the Election Commission of Pakistan. Qureshi told that now there would be no hurdles for the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold in time Elections.

To a question, he said the Government should prepare itself for the date announced by the Apex Court and subsequently negotiation for joint/General Election all over Pakistan, could be convene.
