The next 24 hours are very critical in the political landscape of Pakistan. Supreme Court reserved its judgment yesterday and expected to announce it today. The Ruling parties seem unhappy with the upcoming decision, having concerns over the Bench, nonetheless, the Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) is pleased with the expected decision. the ruling party is blaming the Chief Justice for favouring PTI though their claims is prima facie not true. On one hand PTI and on the other hand lawyers community welcomed the expected decision, considering it the supremacy of constitution. Constitution of Pakistan clearly reflects that after the dissolution of Assembly (Federal / Provincial ), Election would be held in 90 days.

The Supreme Court didn't allow the Advocates of Ruling parties as the parties whom they are representing showed lack of confidence in the current bench, asked them to tender formal written statement of confidence then they would be allowed to argue.

The Supreme Court recorded the statements of the parties, remarked that there is nothing which could stop the way of election. Mere on the basis of lacking fund and economic situation Elections can't be delayed and asked the Attorney General to cut on the development fund.

As such the expected decision would be direction to the current Government to hold election well in time.
