The relationship between China & Taiwan remained multifaceted and contentious owing to the clash over the political standing of Taiwan. The Taiwan administration was shifted from Japan to China in 1945 (End of WW-II), and subsequently between the PRC and ROC in the wake of the Chinese Civil War. The speculations have now been once again triggered in the Chinese Administration, owing to the increasing influence of the US in the affairs of Taiwan and Taiwan's inclination towards the US. The tension was augmented by the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. After her visit, the world is near to seeing another catastrophe in terms of increasing China-US tension. China reportedly announced military drills in the busiest sea water around Taiwan, which triggered speculation all over the world. Actually, it is a struggle for global policing. The struggle for global policing between China & US might add another chapter of catastrophe vis a vis Ukraine. If war erupts, it will engulf half of the glob directly and the remaining half indirectly into its flame. The most astonishing feature of the war in Ukraine and likely to erupt in Taiwan is that the International Organizations seem to be teethless.
