Foreign Minister of KSA Shahzada Faisal bin Farhan and Iran's Foreign Minister Hussain Ameer Abdul Manan med in the capital of China (Beijing) for reducing the tension between the two countries. 
For the last half a century, especially after 9/11 the Islamic World suffered a lot owing to the non-existence of a mediator, nonetheless this time China though a communist played its role in cooling down the situation between Iran & Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It would be better if someone mediated in the med of 1980 while the catastrophic war took place between Iran -Iraq. the time OIC also remained silent or had no strategy the calm down the situation, nonetheless, China did well by cooling down the long rivalries between Iran & KSA. 
The normalization of the situation between both states would have positive effects on the whole world especially the middle east and Pakistan provided that hate is not triggered again. It is strongly believed that the tension between the two was the result of the absence of a mediator. Despite this fact, Islam as a religion teaches that when there are two fighting the third should mediate for the settlement of the issue at hand.
